Thyme is also one of the kings of aromatic herbs for its pleasant and intense "field flavor". Its generic name, Thymus vulgaris, comes from the Greek verb thym, which means to perfume, thus alluding to its characteristic and intense aroma.
Organic thyme, harvested by hand and naturally dried in the sun.
Only the sheet is used.
15 g jar.
It is an ideal herb for red meat, hare, pork and pâtés. It is good on all vegetables and mushrooms and very rich in sauce with red wine. Not recommended for salads. Dry has much more aroma than fresh.
